Tattvabodha - 2017

National Mission of Manuscripts, New Delhi on 15th March 2017.

KLE Univeristy’s Shri B.M. Kankanawadi Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Belagavi had organized a Guest Lecture on ‘Tattvabodha-2017’ in collobration with National Mission of Manuscripts, New Delhi on 15th March 2017.

Manuscripts are the olden treasures of related to various sciences. The need and esstentailty of initial education of Ayurvedic Manauscripts and the way to overcome the difficulties in editing Ayurvedic Manuscripts and their publication is the need of the hour. Hence a guest lecture was conducted. Dr. S.D. Kamat, Rtd. Professor and Registrar of Bombay Sion, a renowned person in the field of manuscriptology spoken on the application of manuscripts in Dravyaguna and its importance in identification of durgs.

This guest lecture was presided by Principal Dr. B.S. Prasad, Vice Principal Dr. P.G. Jadar, Dr. P.V. Savanur, Professor  & HoD of Dravyaguna, inaugurated the function. This function was attended by UG & PG students from our college and PG Scholars and staff of Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya Hubli and Mysore.

Dr. P.V. Savanur, welcomed the gathering, Dr. Savita Sajjan, Reader Department of Basic Principles highlighted the importance of manuscripts. Dr. Usharani Sanu,                       Dr. Adavesh Holachye attended the function.  Programme was organized by Dr. B.B. Desai and anchored by Dr. Amruta Kalyani
