MoU with CCRAS for Research on Dengue Fever

 

KLE University has exchanged MoU with Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences, for entitled on “Evaluation of Add on Efficacy & Safety of an Ayurvedic Formulation in the Management of Dengue Fever & Prevention of its Complications – A Double Blind Clinical Study”.  The participating institutes in the proposed study are as follows.

  • ICMR – National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Belagavi
  • KLE University’s J.N. Medical College, Belagavi
  • KLE University’s Shri B.M.Kankanawadi Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Belagavi

The proposed project will be conducted for 2 years with a sanctioned of more than 98 lakhs.  The MoU has been exchanged between Dr. Sulochana Bhat, Officer In-charge, CCRAS-Regional Ayurveda Resrach Institute for Metabiolic Disorders, Bangalore and              Dr. N.S. Mahanteshetti, Principal, KLEU J.N. Medical College, Belagavi. Investigator in the study – Dr. B.S. Prasad, Principal BMKAM, Dr.V.A. Kothiwale, Dr. Rekha Patil, – Professors Dept. of Medicine JNMC, Dr. S.L. Hoti, Scientist ‘G’ Dr, Banappa S. Unger Scientist ‘D’ NITM were also present during the time of MoU exchange programme held on  23rd August 2017 at 12 Noon at JNMC Council Hall.
